Dam Lunch & Floating Fun Day
A scenic long-tail boat ride to floating houseboats for fresh fish, swimming, and water play.
What to Expect
This is one of our absolute favorite family day trips! You’ll head over to Mae Ngat Somboon Chon Dam inside Sri Lanna National Park, where a traditional long-tail boat takes your group across calm, mountain-ringed waters to floating raft houseboats.
Once you arrive at the floating rafts, settle in for a delicious lunch featuring ultra-fresh fish from the reservoir—like crispy fried tilapia with local herbs or spicy tom yum. While the adults relax and soak in the peaceful views, kids (and energetic adults!) will love the floating water playgrounds, complete with slides, trampolines, kayaks, and splash zones right off the rafts. It’s a wonderful, laid-back day out that seamlessly blends great food, water fun, and beautiful scenery.
